S60R spark plug replacement S60

fellow bricksters:

This is probably a pretty straightforward job but I just wanted to make sure there's nothing I should know about first.....

I'm overdue for a change of spark plugs (93k, original set, yeah I know...); in any case a tube running over the valve cover (from presumably the intercooler to turbo) covers one of the screws to the valve cover. It looks like I'll need to remove the tube temporarily in order to remove the valve cover for spark plug access. So the question is: is there anything I should know before removing this metal tube?

Thanks for your input!

    Update:

Did the plug change and it was easy.....just a bit tedious. Had to remove the strut tower brace to get full access for over-engine intercooler-turbo tube. Covered turbo intake with latex glove to prevent any debris falling into it. All told, it took about an hour or so. And those plugs were definitely worn - now getting more pull and improvement on mpg (+1.5).

You are correct, it is the intercooler tube. Nothing in there but air and possibly a bit of oil residue.
