3rd row seat safe? V70-XC70

I had a 3rd row seat installed in my 1998 v70 and was struck from behind when a car not paying attention hit me at almost 50mph, i was stopped with my foot on brake. I had a 6yr old sitting in the third row seat and 3 babies in the middle back. All of us were fine, not even a scratch. So yes i'd say its very safe.

    I bet that 6 year old will never sit in that seat again. I could not imagine what was going through his head when he saw that car coming.

    Anyway, I am glad that everyone is ok and it is good to know the third row is safe.

    Just a reminder to others, the 3rd row is intended for CHILDREN between 60-90 lbs.
    The 6 year old is not going to want to ride backwards for a while :)
