Brake job S60 2004

I have to do a brake on my S60.
I've done a few on my 850's .
Anything , that I should be aware of .
Do I need shims ?
Are the bolts holding the pads , same heads as the 850's .
How is the quality of the groton rotors and pads.
Only place I have an account around here is NAPA.
Thanks.

Paul

I also need to do the brakes on our 02 S60.
Did you buy your parts already and if so what brand?
I'm looking at the Nordic rotors and Mintex pads from FCP.
I've also seen reference to needing a 7mm hex tool, KlausC recommends a T40, are they one and the same?

I've done many brake jobs on the 240's we used to have and they were pretty easy.

The me know how it goes, I'll be ordering the parts on Friday of this week.

Front brakes? Instead of a hex tool, you will need a T40 for the slide pins. If you like the OEM pads, order some more of them.
If there is a large lip on the rotor, consider replacing them.
It might be time to flush the brake fluid?
