Can someone help me. I had a 1995 850 and sold it along with a 1999 S70. Now I'm missing my baby real bad but the only 850's I can seem to find in the Oklahoma area are Turbo's. Any reliability concerns other than the AC evaporator? My 95 was perfect until I hit the 210K mark at which point I needed major repairs. I'm finding 96 and 97 models with anywhere from 90K to 120K for $2500 to $3800

    Nothing wrong with turbos except for speeding tickets :) And the vacuum elbow by cyl #1.

      Don't worry about the turbo's reliability. I've read this board for years and there's hardly any turbo related trouble reported -maybe some minor oil leaks that are easy to repair, but no major or expensive failures. I don't have a turbo but sometimes wish I did, I don't much like the lag, but I'd get over that quickly I expect.
      Check for good records and rear main seal/PCV health
