SRS System Light on 850 1994

Hi again everyone!
My SRS light came on and will not reset or go out. I read that it requires 9 volts to keep it reset and that a crash sensor located under the center console has a standby power unit and there is a contact reel behind the steering wheel that ensures a good electrical connection is maintained with the airbag at all times. I do not get any code reading and I don't know how to diagnose what is failing with this system. Does anyone have any expertise with this system ?
