Hi All,
I've forgotten how to reset the check engine, and service indicator lights on my 1999 S80. I have done it in the past and remember it as being a simple fix but I've lost the info I wrote down. Please help.

BUT, a check engine light is not the same thing! You need a scanner to figure out that one.

Thanks Klaus,
It worked for the service light. I had gotten an easy fix a couple years back to reset the check engine light, but lost where I wrote it, hopefully someone can post it again for me.

The check engine light(CEL) can only be turned off by using a scanner to retrieve the codes and then delete them. Obviously, a code that cannot be deleted requires an engine fix of some sort.
