Shjifting problem V70-XC70 2002

I have changed atf fluid with Toyota correct fluid for the Volvo. I had compluter softwear updated at the dealership and my Transmission still has the shift problem that is always mentioned. Not always, but enough to worry me.
Dealership when attached to computer showed a problem with the ABS Module. I was told that this could cause a transmission shifting problem???? Not looking to just replace parts and not solving the problem.

Can this be possible???

The speedometer signal is routed through the ABS module, and, if there are problems with the ABS the speedometer signal may not make it the the transmission unit. The TCU has to have the speedo signal in order to be in the correct gear.

I suggest you bypass the dealer and have your ABS module repaired. Do a google search on ABS module, or just go to Victor's site:

Read what Victor has to say about errors before sending him an email. He might be on vacation this week?
