My tailgate wont open, it locks and unlocks properly, but when I pull on exterior handle, nothing, the interior handle has a plastic shell which is cracked and moves around a bit, could this be causing, I haven't tried to open from inside yet, trying it later today, tailgate has worked previously cant figure out why now?

My 01 V70 T5a did that once. I pushed the door in while activating the latch and it worked. Never had a problem since.

I got it working, I think some sort of strange vacuum had formed as i do not open this door often, a little more force and it finally popped open, so it wasn't the latch or lock, I guess the rubber seal had just really attached to the metal frame!
