    Very interesting. I remember my 96 850GLT being involved in a fuel tank recall as well. My current brick, a 99 S70, has a pronouced fuel smell after every fuel up if the tank is filled. No leaks - just smells.

    Fuel leaks seem to be the Achilles heel of the newer bricks.....
