Is the lower tail light assembly on my 96 850 wagon compatible with the part for 98-00 v70s? I am sure it will fit, but I don't know if it is cosmetically proper. Much thanks.

lampsandlenses.com has the lower ones for $40some and they fit both years.

The only real difference is in the upper assembly, the turn signal lense is clear on the later models and requires a yellow bulb. Both the upper and lower will fit the 850s.
