1999 S80 Mass Air Flow Sensor S80 1999

I have a 1999 Volvo S80 that I purchased on Ebay. I got the car and about a day of driving it the Service Transmission message light came on. I had the TCM replaced and a rebuild of the tramsmission. Now the car is runnung rough and comes up with error codes, the codes are 1132 and 300. I brought it to a garage and they said it was the Mass Air Flow Sensor for a cost of 546.00. I drove it home and it started doing the same thing. It hesitates and bucks at any speed. it really gets bad after driving for awhile. I thought it might be the transmission but there are no tramsmission codes that come up just the ones I mentioned above. I don't think it is the transmission but now I just don't know. I also had the fuel filter replaced. After installing the MAF I have put over 3,500 into this car and I am at the point where I don't know what to do. I hope someone can help me out I am ready to drive this off a cliff.

    Thanks

    p1132 = running rich
    p0300 = random misfire on multiple cylinders

    Use this thread to look up your DTC's:

    You have unmetered air entering the intake manifold, which causes a rich condition. Probably a bad vacuum line, loose throttle body connection to the intake air, leaking manifold gasket, all of the above...

    It would help if we knew what kind of engine is in your S80. BTW, 1999 was not a good year.

      The engine is a T6 I think it is a 2.9L. This is my only car right now and I don't want to put much more into it. I like the car but the problems are killing me. Would changing the O2 sensors help.

        The O2 sensors are working, which is why your car is running "rich". The sensors recognized a severe lean condition and added fuel to the mixture to compensate.
        Continued running in the rich state will result in fouled spark plugs and coated O2 sensors. Eventually the overworked O2 sensors will also fail.

        All because of a vacuum leak...
