I've called and visited a lot of places here in St. Louis and had no luck finding a proper set of volvo wheels in anything approaching my price range. I did manage to find a very nice and affordable set of 17" Jaguar S-Type Wheels in the proper bolt pattern for only $100.00.
I also replaced the "hole-punched" hood for just $25.00

Compared to this:

The improvement in appearance is significant.
Unfortunately, The 63.6mm hub bore of the Jaguar wheels keeps these from seating safely on my hubs (Which is just as well, because the deep well and wide tires cause the driver's front wheel to rub the strut tube.
So, either I can re-sell these wheels or I can find some spacers. For the front, the wheels need to be set out a 1/4" With a change that large, should I get simple spacers, or go for those chunky ones with the extra set of lugs?
The second option seems like a slightly better solution for structure and stability and would keep my rotors from sliding around on the hubs. However, too wide and the suspension geometry will be screwed up.
Any recommendations here? I don't want the car to look idiotic, but those Arelli wheels have got to go and I simply can't afford four new Volvo wheels at $200.00/hub plus tires.
