Computer Case Cooling Hose S70 1998

I'm guessing this is a common failure as every single 850/70 series car I checked (including my own) has the same missing piece.

The computer casing has a cooling hose leading from the top of the casing to the radiator fan. There was a flex-section on it that appears to break on all the junkyard cars. When it is cold as heck here, I don't worry about the injection and transmission computers overheating, but come summer I think I'll need to fix the problem.

What have you guys done to replace this section when it invariably breaks?

For a tempory measure, duct tape still works. The accordian part disintegrates all by itself :)

So long as fresh air is pulled into the cabin, blower on and recirc off, air will be drawn through the computer box.

That's it. Thanks! I figured a dealer part would be close to $50. Actually *my* local dealer probably is...

Same reaction, here. I nearly feinted at the parts counter. I commented that this was the first time I had bought a piece of Volvo moulded plastic for under three figures.
