Assorted little stuff-like gas cap 850 1994

Couple of little questions....any idea why I get a "check engine" code for emissions, with no pressure build-up in the fuel tank (no "whoosh" when uncapping)? Bad gas cap maybe. Anyone have the A/C indicator lights flash off and on 6 or 8 times upon start-up?? Is it really virtually impossible to replace dash light/instrument bulbs??

Gas cap has nothing to do with check eng light on 94 models. Climate control lights flashing at start indicate a fault in the climatye control system. Dash light bulbs are replaceable but the upper dash pad has to come off. See "bay 13" for more info.

You have a 1994? so you can read your own codes and clear them, Bay13 at Volvospeed has posts to help you out.
