1999 S80 p0300 code S80

My 99 s80 with 193K miles threw a p0300 code yesterday. It had been sitting in my garage for five days in damp weather, and when started, it was really rough for a minute or two. As I backed out of the garage, CEL came on with Emission System Service Required message. P0300 (multi cyl mis fire) was the only code thrown.

I'm assuming this is a result of the rough start, but wondering if it is symptomatic of other potential problems. Plugs were changed at 176K miles, a year ago.
Thanks.

Have the wires or cap/rotor been changed? Sounds like they need to be refreshed.

Just have the P0300 cleared. That message will not go away by itself.

only one coil unit has been changed about 30k miles ago. Car has always started a bit rough after sitting for more than a few days. I reset cel and just drove 50 miles with no reoccurence, so I'll chalk it up to the rough start. going to milk this vehicle for all it is worth. It's been good to me and it owes me nothing. Thanks for all the good (and quick) info on this board...
