Longevity of heater hoses - quality of URO parts V70-XC70 1998

Hello,

I have to place an order with FCP for some other parts and I'm mulling the merits of preemptively replacing my heater hoses and rad hoses.

I remember from my RWD days that many of those guys said that engine cooling components were good for ~8-10 years before they needed to be replaced. My car is now in the 12 years old range (built in late 1997, now 2010) and 200k miles, and I suspect all the rubber lines are original OEM parts.

They seem in fine shape, but I really want to make this car as bulletproof as possible for a hypothetical long journey sometime in the future.

The problem I am having is that although FCP's prices on these parts seem reasonable, they are all URO parts.

I'm looking for opinions:

- how long will the OEM stuff last reliably?

- is URO a decent enough name? How long will that stuff last?

- am I better off with the old OEM stuff or new URO parts?
I'd hate to change them to new URO parts that only last ~2-3 years when it currently seems like my OEM stuff might last that much longer!

Any opinions are appreciated.
