I was down 8 ounches in coolant and that was replaced. Still have a problem at times when the air conditioning just stops. Fan blows but compressor is probably not working. I will check for a leak Next week, but if full what problam may I have?

I was alble to print out the fix for my AC Clutch Gap problem and take it to my mechanic who had it repaired within a half a hour and charged me only $30.00 fore bringing him to fix that he also used on a Ford Explorer that was in his shop with the same type problem. A Volvo dealer would have sold me a new compressor for over $850.00 plus about $200.00 labor to repair.

When checking for a leak, look at the bottom of the accumulator/drier bottle for pitting. Also the condenser for rock marks.

If the pressure is still up, check the compressor clutch for play. It should be gapped less than .040
