Performance upgrade S40T4 Phase II S40-V40 2001

Hi guys

I would like to know if Volvo has a performance upgrade for the T4 Phase II.(Not just body parts.)I would like to get about 250km/h top speed but do not want to compromise my warranty. We do not have TME in our country, so that is ruled out.

Regards

Volvo themselves? That would be the day... Unfortunately they do not have the same attitude like MB with AMG and BMW with Alpina, which are fully warranteed upgrades.

The only thing Volvo offers AFAIK is a new roadholding kit (probaby Ohlins, never saw it myself), but nothing in the engine area.

They don't even 'do' a sport-exhaust for the S40 (I think there is one for the C70) or anything else (eg. limited-slip diff).

Sorry..

Perhaps SuperChips has an office in SA? They could be an option and perhaps they are willing to take over the warranty on the engine.

Or you have to wait until the warranty runs out..

Bye, Arno.

In the accessary book of S40, there is a sport-exhaust (it seems a sport one), and it is written that it gives around 4hp. I don't know anything about the new road holding kit, is it different from the one that is in the 1999 and 2000 accessary books?
