Tell the old man that he is wasting his time. I am a Volvo and Infiniti owner. The 1997 Infiniti Q45 will not beat a 1997 Volvo 850R in 0-60mph or 1/4 mile. On the other hand, I have a 1991 Infiniti Q45 with the 278hp/292lb.ft, 4.5 liter V8 that will spank a stock 850R past 110mph. I know this because I have done it. A 340hp Stillen Q45t without/NOS will also beat a chipped 850R, although to answer your question, you will eat him for lunch easily.

I would say (to make it more "interesting"), you give him a 2-sec head start or a couple of car lengths. I know that the Q's V-8 will come alive after a few yeards but, if your car is healthy, he has absolutely no chance.

lol "take it easy" i didn't start it I'm thinkink of getting a progressive shot of NOS (dual perge 100 shot). Oh and by the way the leather is great the only thing you have to watch out for on the "R" series is the sweide on the seats you wouldn't want to be spelling anything on them other then that they are by far the most sporty , ferm , soft seats I ever sat on.
