New XC 60 FWD V70-XC70

Hello all, after two (2) XC70 wagons 1998 & 2004. I decided to buy a 2011 XC60. Any comments would be welcome.

I really hope you got the 'blind spot' detection option, the visibility looks to be poor with the small rear windows.

Seriously, a lot of folks here want YOUR feedback on the new XC60.

So far so good. The blind spot detector works well. Every now and then the inferred sensor picks up something other than a car. You are correct about the rear window. You do not have the vision like in the wagon. I went with FWD rather than AWD because living in the Wash. D.C. area it is really not needed. One thing I am not sure about is the key to start the car. You put it in a slot gently and a motor pulls it in the rest of the way. Then you push a button to start. To remove the key you push it in a bit and the motor retracts the key. The car steers like a champ and the acceleration is super (reg. gas). I have had a number of VOLVOS but this one is a trip. Keep you all posted.
