If you mean your turbo guage's needle does not fall below the straight up position, or never moves from this position, a couple things may have occured.

    1. If it moves beyond (into white) but not to the left (not white), te vacuum line to the guage is disconnected/failed.

    2. If it does not move into the white, but moves to the left from centre, your boost line is disconnected/failed.

    3. If it does not move at all, both lines are disconnected/failed, or the guage has failed or your car may be in a state of limp mode.

I currently have problem 1, and I am simply having the vacuum line replaced if necessary, or reattached to the guage.

Now the boot gauge seat in the center straight up position..

At what rpm or how hard I push before I should see the needle is moving..

The way I can see if the gauge is working or not.

Thanks for all freinds who been sharing the input..

I'm not sure exactly at what position the accelerator pedal must be depressed in order for it to go from vacuum to boost, I only now by feel. It is however, usually pretty far down into the travel of the pedal.

The surest way to insure that your bosst guage is atleast registering boost is by simply flooring the pedal. By the time it hits the red line and full throttle, it should have gotten past the vertical position by then.

You also have to consider that your car may be in a limp mode. It has happened to me before. I volvo tech forgot to reconnect the mass air sensor. I started my car, the idle tumbled, and I couldn't keep the car running. A warning light came on, and my engine went into limp mode, essentially not running boost.

The turbo is always on. In general white means your over atmospheric pressure, ie boost.
