My wife's Service Engine Soon light came on and then went off before I could check it out and reset it. What does this mean? Thanks.

    Time for an oil change. Might also be time for a tune up. In either case, the computer thinks it needs help soon. Dealers usually reset the service indicator.

    it means you need an oil change. Or at least your car thinks you do...


    To reset here's what you do:

    hold odometer reset button.
    turn ignition key to run, after 10 seconds the service light will flash
    release the reset button within 4 seconds from the time the light starts flashing
    Turn car off and on again to make sure it took
