Another newbe 940 turbo question

Is there supposed to an Oil Filter Adapter O-Ring for a Volvo 940 Mitsubishi Turbo that needs to accompany the Mann filter? If so, could this causing the stalling and accompanying tapping during deceleration that I brought up in a previous post? And last,,, what trouble have I again gotten my self in?...

The biggest trouble is that you posted on the AWD/FWD section and not the RWD/900 section.

There are no adapters for the Mann filter. The filter was used back in the 1960's through 2000 Volvo engines. All of them use the same filter without adapters.

Stalling and tapping during decelleration could be caused by a clogged fuel filter.

not that I know of, the filter should have the gasket/seal on that's part of it that goes against the block.

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?
