Anybody use Anti-Sway Bars? S70 2000

I'm thinking about putting anti sway bars on my car. Any of you guys reccomend these? I was looking into getting the set in IPD for $300. If any of you guys have comments please let me know. Does it really make a difference?

Have the factory "sport suspension", IPD stabilizer bars, Volvo strut tower brace, and z-rated Dunlops.

I don't think the car rides any firmer, but there is much less body roll in the corners. It's still no sports car, though.

Does it make a difference? Yes.

Re: Anybody use Anti-Sway Bars? S70 2000

tim,

As stated, the car already has anti-sway bars.

I put Bilsteins and an IPD strut-tower brace on mine. The ride and handling is much better and the steering is faster.

Since I live in Michigan and the roads are TERRIBLE, I did not want to trade a comfortable ride for ultimate performance.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Bryan

Hi, Tim

Your car already has sway bars, but the IPD ones are larger and will prevent body roll to a greater extent. I have the IPD ones on my C70, along with the lowering springs and Bilstein shocks. The car handles much better and it is absolutely flat in corners. I recommend them, but they do make the ride slightly more harsh, as a rule. If you really want harsh, get the springs and Bisltein shocks/struts, too.
