spark plug coil Failure V70-XC70

My 2000 Cross Country has had a ignition spark plug coil failure.
I replace it and it ran fine for about 25 KMS and now another one has failed.
Any reason for this or is there a another problem??

It is the design of the head and cover. It gets too hot under the cover, designed to keep water out of the sparkplug holes, and the coils eventurally crack.

The new cars have a vent to let out some of the heat. Find some cheaper units on the web, the dealer costs much too much for a coil. Usually, 1&5 last longer than 2-4.

Thanks Klaus!
I noticed that volvo recommends changing plugs every 15000 miles(24000kms)
and I have not changed mine in the last 150,000 KMS., so maybe its time to do that.
