can't be good :( :(:( 850 95

checking the oil in the wife's 850 glt today i notice a little sludge and condensation on the stick,the oil has been changed regularly(almost to much).the car has 100k on it but runs like new,we live in a very soggy climate(west coast of canada)i don't know if that has anything to do with it..going to change the oil right away and monitor the oil..dam i hope it is not a cracked block or something like that..anyone with this same problem i would like to know your thoughts and cures thanks ..

    I'd suspect that your car is not driven many miles between stops, thus its engine's not getting to its full operating temp and thus burning off any condensation that gets in there?

    I see that on cars like that, where it's driven for mostly short trips and although it's better if the car is driven longer (where you wouldn't have that occur), it's not likely that you'll re-locate just to add miles to your engine either ;)

    If that's not the case, then maybe your T-stat isn't working correctly and the engine isn't running at normal operating temp? (just a possibility)

    Either way, it's most likely not a serious problem.
