850 - Is this the correct CV axle?

1996 Volvo 850 GLT Automatic Non-Turbo
I ordered a replacement passenger side CV axle, I was planning on digging in this Thursday. My concern is all the tutorials I've been reading mention a circlip on the end of the shaft that holds it in place. The Axle I received has no circlip or groove in the splines where it would connect to the transmission. Is it only the driver side that is held in by a circlip and the passenger side is held in place by the support bearing or did they send me the wrong axle?

ANSWER 850 - Is this the correct CV axle?

The passenger side axle has no circlip, just the driver's side. You are good to go.
