Climate control flashing light 850 1996

This morning I noted that the two light of climate control (REC light and AUT OFF light) flash after I started the engine.

Somebody know someting about this strange think.

Thanks a lot.

I am serching for an VOLVO club in Italy if anybody know something about please tell me.

    To echo Vadim's reply, this is a fault indication. My car needed a new sensor as well (the one on the top of the dash).

    That's a malfunction indication. Take it to a dealer to read the code (not sure is a code is set, though). It should be described in your manual.

    It did it on mine, too. The dealer then had replaced the temp sensor, which fixed the flashing and improved the overall operation of the unit.
