Hi All, I just got back from alignment service #2. Actually this time the mechanic (different guy this time) told me there was no point as the control arm front bushing is shot. And it clearly is as he showed me. I'm a bit unhappy that the first guy didn't bother to mention this as there is apparently no way to the alignment as it is now. So my question is this: If I decide to attempt this job myself, would it be wise to buy the entire control arm with the bushings pre installed? or just the front bushing itself. Also what about the one that also has the ball joint installed? FCP or IPD or?? Any advice is most welcomed. They have offered to check the alignment again once the work is done (by them or other).

    Ah, nevermind regarding if I should buy the one with the ball joint as that looks to be for the wrong model and maybe dubious quality? Also sounds like it's well worth getting the one that has the bushings pressed in. In other words with the control arm too.. Right?
