DTCS code P0071 ambient Air Temp Sensor Range/Performance V70-XC70 2001

I noticed that after 30 min normal driving to work in morning,when I park the car the radiator fan is running when I shut of the vehicle for 10 min or so. The temp gauge on dash is normal not running hot. Today I got a check engine light and pulled a P0071 code Ambient air temp sensor range performance.Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    The outside air temperature sensor moves every year. On my 1998 it was just behind the front bumper. On the P2 cars, I believe it moved the the driver's outside mirror. It is not expensive and easy to replace, depending where it is.

    The temp sensor is needed to derermine proper fuel mixture.
