Grille removal '04 XC 70 V70-XC70 2004

Want to remove the grille, but can not find how. Tried Alldata and looked at other information with no luck. Any suggestions?

The cars up to 2000 had plastic rectangular tabs that slide to one side to release/lock the grill into place. Either 4 or 5 of them.

Believe I have it figured. The bumper cover contains the grille. Have to release 7 pegs, pull the plastic away from the car just under the hood and then release clips. Will try if it ever cools off here in TX.

        Grille in bumper V70-XC70 2004

Well, pardon my confusion, I assumed you meant the one in the lower hood.

The bumper grills on my 1998 are just pushed in from the front. The grill has plastic holding tabs that snap into place. Removal is just moving the tabs and pushing forward. Its easiest if you have 3 or 4 hands, of course.
