My 97 850 glt has a surging idle problem for about 90 to 120 seconds when it start up in the morning or any time after it sits for a while. The idle surges between 800rpm to 2500. After about 3min. it runs fine.. Any suggestions?

Throttle plate sticking? I would get a spray can of valvoline carb. cleaner and spray the heck out of the throttle plate and then take WD-40 to the throttle cable.

Clean the IAC valve and the MAF sensor.
Check for vacuum leaks.
