RESETTING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

IS THERE A WAY TO RESET THE "SERVICE ENGINE" LIGHT IN A 1998 S70? THANKS.

Sorry, to be clear, the Draper tool is for the service reminder light. For the CEL, we use our handy hand held OBD II code reader, also very straightforward. If that is not available, I disconnect the battery for a few minutes.

Well, of course there is, the Draper tool. Got one off Ebay years ago for $50. The problem is that they are for some reason, a UK item that seldom is seen here anymore. BTW, only for 850 through '98 70 series.

For those of us that do not have laptop software to clear it. A dedicated device is $180, or when changing bulbs in the cluster, put the service bulb. Black tape works. I just use it as a do not engage turbo until off.
