2003 XC V70-XC70

I recently changed the spark plugs on my 2004 V70. That was straight forward.
My wife's 2003 XC has a hard plastic air inlet tube(?)crossing just above the
plug access cover.
Is there room to change the plugs without removing the tube??? or does it cross right over one of the plugs? I should have measured the clearance based on my V70 before I reinstalled the cover..... drat!!!
Thx.

My plug puller has a swivel attachment and a 6" extension, so no worries.

You will have to at least remove hose clamp on the front side of the engine near the oil dipstick. With that clamp undone, I can remove only the one side of the plastic tube. This is usually just enough to get to coils/plugs.
