Lights on Radio/CD/Cassette--only half illuminate S70 1998

I keep on finding little things that are awry with the previously leased 1998 S70 I just bought.

Only half of the dashboard lights for the radio/cd/cassette illuminate when the headlights are turned on.

How do I fix this?

Is this something that the Chilton or Haynes books address?

Several of us discussed this particular problem about six weeks ago on this board. My dealer told me the radio wasn't under warranty. He offered to "swap" my radio for another used one for about $169.00, but I wouldn't know how used that one was. Heck, the light problem could occur a week later.

This weekend, I stopped into a car audio seller/installer place and asked them what to do. They gave me the card of a guy in L.A. (where I live) who could go into the radio and probably fix it. I'm contacting him on Monday. Will let you know more after I make contact...

It's such an annoying problem...we all agree.
