options list 850 1996

does any one know if you can trace your car vin for list of factory options.this 1996 850 turbo has a insignia next to the volvo emblem on the rear of the car that resembles a checkered flag,someone said the car has the european supension as well as the 17 inch rims with factory pirellis.Apparently this supension was not avail in the us because of bumper height restrictions.Was it avail in canada and if so what were the imported numbers.Is there any access to this type of volvo data.

    I believe that emblem was installed on the high output "T5-Rs" which were later just termed "R" . They were sold in the US as I've seen and still see them but they're not as common as other less powered turbo cars.
