2001 cd players S40-V40 2001

I have a 2001 s40 that will not play copied cds (cdrs). After visiting the dealership regarding this problem, I found that all other models of the same year will not play copied cds. If anyone is experiencing this or nows how to correct this, I would love to here from you. Thanks

    Scott,

    I had problem when first trying to play cdr's. They would either sound like a skipping record or be ejected.

    I found using Sony CDQ74CN cdr's w/ XO technology, recorded at 4X or slower work the best. Be sure you end or close the cd before use.

    I have tried cdrw's, memorex cdr's and imation cdr's with no luck.
