Drivers side window went down ok on my 2001 S40.When I tried to raise it,nothing.I jiggled the window a bit & it went up some,jiggled it again & it went up all the way.It worked smoothly.Is it the switch?Bad connection?Or something else?Any one have this problem?

    I'm thinking that since the jiggling made the window go up, it is probably not the switch. Pull the door panel and get a look inside there.
    You can try lubricating the tracks first.
    But I suspect it is a motor malfunction.
