Anyone Have Experience with Either: Motive Products Power Bleeder or Easybleeder?

Both system clain to allow one man brake system flushing/bleeding.

Sounds great if it works.

Can anyone that has used either product make some comments please.

I am leaning towards the Easybleeder solfd by IPD. But accidently stumbled on the motiveproducts site- their product appears to look better constructed.

Thanks

I used the EZ-bleeder to change the front caliper on my 84 240. Works really well. Just have to attach the bottle to a spare tire for positive pressure. This can sit atop the grill/engine and easily reach the brake fluid reservoir. I recommend having someone watch the fluid level in the bottle, however, as it goes faster than you think while you are standing on your head. A full bottle should easily bleed two sides though.

    Nathan,

I have the MotiveProducts Power Bleeder and it works great.

It holds 2qts of fluid and does not need an external pressure source. I cant see pulling out my spare tire to bleed brakes.

The canister is made of heavyduty poly and the directions are printed on the side(makes them hard to loose ;-)). It come with an extra piece of hose that fits the bleeder valve. All you do is add fluid, screw the connector to the master cylinder, pump it up, attach the bleeder hose and you are ready to go.

It took me me about 30min to bleed my brakes buy myself.

By the end March they should have a universal adapter out that will work on all cars.

A friend and I split the cost of an Motiv bleeder and it works great. It is very nicely constructed and looked more durable than the ez bleeder. Just my opinion.

I called them up and ordered it over the phone-1-877-59BRAKE (1-877-592-7253), but their website is excellent and you can get it there too.
