Hard to reach coolant leak S70

I think my brick must be getting old. I have had 4 problems in the last 6 months.
I noticed about one handful of coolant on the garage floor. I checked the hoses and all are tight. I noticed the transmission filler area is wet with green coolant as it dripped from above and leaked down. From under the car there is a small thin hose, actually 2 of them but only 1 seems to be leaking. This is in an area within 6 inches of what looks like a cushion or something. But what i can see are two hoses running above the transmission and maybe the cushion is the engine mount? this is as you open the hood kind of on the right side of the engine area but going down into the engine behind the engine. I am trying to be descriptive here. Does anyone know what those hoses come from and how hard they are to access? From what i can see they are really hard to get to.

I am thinking of replacing both those hoses. There seems to be a thumb nail like hairline crack causing a leak. The hoses dont look to be that worn. Can anyone tell me more about this area?

I went under the car and looked around. Now i think the hoses behind the engine but above the motor mount are the heater hoses. They are very thin skinny hoses. The hose that is leaking looks like someone put their thumb nail into it since that is what the crack looks like. But given the location of this hose i think the hose cracked after years of use nicely in that one spot.

Both of those hoses are in a hard spot to reach and are mostly neglected because of that. You do want to replace both at the same time, along with the O rings.

Because you will need to drain some of the coolant out of the block, to keep it from pouring onto the garage floor, it is also a good time to just dump all of the coolant and refill with new while also replacing the large radiator hoses and clamps. Just remember to put the new clamps in the same relative position as they are now and not overtighten them.

If you need to replace that one heater hose you might consider replacing all your hoses at once. At a minimum, replace both heater hoses and any of the coolant hoses that look tired.
