I have a aftermarket pioneer head unit Model # FH-8000BPT I need to use the radio and cannot. It's becuase the antenna won't go up when the unit is power'd.I beleive I need a aftermarket harness, anybody run into this problem before, any info on this will be a big help. I can't beleive how much you need a radio. thanks for the help

I yanked the 850 radio/tape player as soon as I got the car, and installed
a CD player yanked from my old 740.
You shouldn't need a new harness, just get the pinout for the radio connector.
There's a special wire there to power the antenna when the radio is on,
not to be confused with the CD player. You Google for it, and I'll look for the info in one of three PCs
