Side Mirror Problem 850 96

Did anyone have one of their side rear-view mirrors start deforming objects (cars showing blurry and wider than normal). Ours has started doing that after the side mirror + rear window fuse was replaced (we noticed the mirror was no longer heating).

Is there any chance that the mirror is being permanently heated now after you changed the fuse? This would cause it to bulge and magnify tyhe image. (Just a thought.....)

Thank you very much for your reply. You are right: the mirror overheated at some point (before the first fuse was blown probably), that is why the images are warped. Just curious if it is a common thing.
