870-Series - High Mileage Failure Components?

What are the common high-mileage failure components? I'm asking specifically about my C70 Turbo Coupe (222,500), but the question is valid for all P80 (870) chassis cars 1994-2004.

I just learned how a Camshaft Position Sensor can leave you stranded and without immediate access to a replacement. I've done quite a bit of maintenance and minor upgrading to this car, but I'd like to assemble a priority list as well as a small stash of emergency repair parts to have on hand.

Aside from the CPS, and the timing belt (of course), what other critical components are prone to fail without warning?

All I used to carry was a folding torx set, a fuel relay - AND - a AAAplus card. In the 1999+ cars, I would also carry a spare coil.

You need to re-build the trust you used to have in your C70.

She's be easier to trust if I have a new CPS on there instead of an unknown used one from a junkyard. I just wonder if there's some other high-mile failure prone part to have on hand...

The 2-7 day wait for a critical part like that has got me a little on edge.
I was incredibly lucky to score those CPS units exactly when I needed them. I can't count on that kind of lucky too often.

      Forewarned is forearmed, they say.
