Power Steering Fluid V70-XC70 1999

Could someone please tell me if I can use Castrol TQ Dextron III transmission fliud in the p/s system of the V70

    No. 1999+ uses a new synthetic PS fluid V70-XC70 1999

    ...that is green in color to differentiate it from ATF fluids that are red. I bought a can of the new fluid from my Volvo dealer.

    Volvo is using a new type of fluid Pentosin CHF11S P/N 1161529-1. The stuff releases air bubbles better and has a wider operating range.

    But you can still use Dextron III according to Volvo.
