Intermittent stalling no codes S70 1999

My car seems to run ok in the mornings, but after it is restarted it will hesitate as though it's not getting enough fuel. I can push the gas pedal and can hear it trying to rev but it wont go much higher than 2000 rpms. Then all of a sudden it will accelerate and be ok for a few seconds then no power again. After I get on the interstate it will hesitate a couple times and then it will be ok for the remainder of the drive home.

The temp is normal. I replaced the the plugs, but no help. I did go ahead and replace the temp sensor at the thermostat. So far I have replaced air filter, fuel filter. Still no trouble codes whatsoever. Any other ideas?

I experienced something similar with our NA 1998 S70 and it was the MAF sensor.

Check your temperature gauge. If it looks to be on the low temp side, you may need a new ECT sensor. Sounds like engine running rich. Are your spark plugs OK?
