my 2002 v70 a/t non-turbo is due for front axle replacement,i purchased FEQ brand axles new that came with a part 36000518, i called the dealer close to me to verify the #, and i was told that, that part # was for v70 w/turbo. the store is telling me that they will fit non/ and turbo. anybody familiar with this axle brand? i need your opinion please.

    What part number did the dealer say a non-turbo would take? Same as turbo?

    With the limited research I've done, it appears to me that there are differences in axles if the car is auto vs manual trans or if it is AWD vs FWD. But it seems that simply turbo vs non-turbo makes no difference. I'd get back with the dealer to be absolutely sure though.

    BTW - I just replaced the RH front axle in my 2003 V70 non-turbo. I went with a rebuilt from Axles Unlimited. They rebuild only OEM axles - no aftermarket units. After two weeks driving, so far so good.

      As per Dealer,part number for turbo a/t fwd is 36000518, non-turbo a/t fwd is 36000521, that is for the left side, the difference is the thickness (a slightly more) for the turbo. I have not removed the old axles yet to compare with the ones I got, ( FEQ made in china) But thank's for the tip.
