Slight hesitation while vehicle is making turns -- and BRAKES squeaking 850 1997

Volvo 850 - 189K -- Checked all the vacuum hoses I could find for holes or bad connections to nipples -- and to make it even more confusion it's not consistently occuring, but -- when I am turning such as being in the right line at an intersection and tuurning, if I "step on it" there is a slight hesitation and almost loss of power that lasts until I either complete the turn (wheel straightened) or I floor it even more and power resumes. Weather is conducive to do some preventive maintenance and I'd really like to get to the bottom of this. Thought about fuel filter, engine mounts look like they could stand replacement. Just wondered if anyone had encountered something like this before I start pulling stuff. ADDITIONALLY, I had all four brake pads replaced by a neighbor -- ceramics on the front, O'Reilly $35.00 specials on the back, and my rear brakes are squeaking. I also noticed that just as the vehicle comes to a controlled stop using brakes, there is a noticeable "click" first on the right rear side and then a half/second later, on the left rear. Suggestions on troubleshooting greatly appreciated on this issue as well.

When are you going to learn how to replace your own brake pads??? It is easy, besides, you get to dictate which pads to buy and if the spring metal is replaced.
Rear pads that are not OEM need to have shims installed to keep the noise dowm.

As to your hesitation, I suggest you look at electrical problems - wiring. The engine will shift to the left when turning right and will shift to the right under a torque load. So, when turning right, the engine looses some electrics and giving it gas increases the torque and pushes the engine back to the right.

The upper mount is probably in dire need, as is the mount under the front of the crankshaft, passenger wheel.

Check the wires for the coil, and any more from the battery to the engine area.

To expand on Klaus's point. If you add shims to the existing rear brake pads make sure to use brake grease on the back side of the pad and the shim. OEM rear pads have built-in shims, just R+R. Also all new hardware is a good thing and cheap.
