possible 2002 V70 purchase V70-XC70 2002

I am looking at purchasing a 2002 V70 turbo. I currently have a 98 V70 NA and was wondering what kind of improvements were made to the newerr series and if they are more difficult to work on or maintain.

Do they still have the issue witht the ABS computer like the "98 cars did?

Are the turbos prone to become the rout of maintenance chores? ie oil leaks...

Any inout would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff

Unless the V70 is an "R", the turbo is a low pressure unit and is not a problem.

The 2002 has more computers. The DIM, dash information module, has a tendancy to stop working. The ABS can have problems, but not the same as the 93-2000 cars. Both can be fixed by www.xemodex.com which is quite good BTW.

Please try to get service history, you need to know of any module replacements.

The AC is much better! But the cabin filter is harder to replace.
