Post-engine pull reassembly - help w/ a couple connectors V70-XC70 1998

Hi folks -

Last year I picked up a '98 V70 that turned out to need a transmission, and after a lot of delays I finally got to it. I pulled the entire engine to do some general R&R plus replace the cracked oil pan, and all the big stuff is back together. A couple things have me baffled:

At the point where the O2 sensor leads connect to the main wiring harness are two additional 2-pin connectors. One of them (white) connects to a sensor on the transmission itself. The other one (black) I have no clue on! I don't remember disconnecting it, and I can't see anything it should be connected to. What am I missing?

The connectors for the cam sensor and flywheel/flexplate position pickup both have clips on them that look like they want to be hooked onto sheetmetal somewhere. The car had been previously worked on and these connectors were just floating around when I disassembled. What *should* they be connected to?

I just gotta work out these issues and wait for a coolant hose to show up and that's it. I have maybe 25-30 minutes of work left to do, then I get to fill it up and check for leaks from the bazillion seals I replaced. ;)

TIA!

I still don't know where any of the sensor connectors are supposed to be mounted, but the mystery connector was for the preheater off the intake pipe. It took a crazy amount of time to find the single component with green/orange and black wires in the wiring diagram, and then figure out what exactly a "PTC resistor preheating" was. Good times. I don't think I ever would have found/remembered that little connector in such a weird, obscured place. Thank $deity for wiring diagrams posted to the internet.
