"Rapid"Blinking On Security LED 850 1994

When I was getting ready to unlock my door,I found a strange discovery.I found out that the LED on the security system was blinking faster than normal.What does this represent?

    Rapid flashing of the alarm LED signifies the alarm had been tripped. Check your back seat for the boogie-man.
